Khayr Ummah Implements Phase Two of the Water Supply Project in Gaza to Alleviate the Suffering of Vulnerable Families

Amid the consequences of war and the destruction and disruption of essential services it has caused, Khayr Ummah Association continues its humanitarian efforts to meet the urgent needs of affected families through the Water Supply Project – Phase Two.

The project included the delivery of 10 water tankers to the most vulnerable neighborhoods, providing usable water to families struggling under harsh conditions and facing daily challenges in securing even the most basic necessities of life.

Field teams explained that each tanker was not merely material aid, but a source of reassurance for families exhausted by thirst—a mother’s prayer as she fills her household containers after long انتظار, and a child’s smile upon finding water to quench their thirst.

Inspired by the saying of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), “The best charity is giving water,” the project highlights that providing water under conditions of war and siege is a true act of mercy that restores a measure of dignity and life to affected communities.

Khayr Ummah Association believes that giving during hardship is among the highest forms of solidarity, and that every drop of water reaching those in need is an ongoing reward for all who contributed to reviving thirsty lives. The association prays that this effort brings comfort and relief to the people of Gaza, and that God multiplies the reward for everyone who made this giving possible.
